South Africa, 2010 Soccer World Cup Soccer hosts

South Africa is set to host the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup in 9 of its cities. The kick-off date for the opening game is 11 June 2010.

The stadia are nearing completion. Most of the new stadiums are rumoured to be at least 60% complete. The projected completion date is October 2009.
