Yekelela Play and Guest Farm is a guest farm that aims to offer family (child orientated) holidays. The accommodation is child friendly, geared towards children's entertainment, and offers surprises like toys (changed and adjusted to age of the children), indoor tents, and even a play tower on top of one of the houses for the children to climb in! The philosophy being that if the children are happy, the parents get to relax!! From December 2009 Yekelela play and Guest Farm will be offering adventure days and camps for children of different age groups.

The accommodation is self catering and is very spacious. The units have one or more full bathrooms (shower and bath). Fully equiped kitchen, lounge and dining area with fireplace. Veranda's or decks with braai facilities. Prices are including towels, washing up liquid and toilet paper.

The farm has a big playground with a bar/ teahouse and touchfarm. The bar serves light lunches, Sunday breakfasts and is fully licensed. The playground is open to the public on holidays, weekends and may always be used by people staying in the accommodation.

The farm furthermore boasts dams, riverine beds, abundant wildlife and beautiful sea views of the pristine wild coast coastline. Mountain biking, hiking, fishing are just a few of the activities that this beautiful property can be used for. Being situated on the Jikeleza route there is ample of entertainment in the area. Game viewing, boat rides, horseriding, elephant interactions, golf, deserted beaches or trips into the African Transkei to view the authentic Xhosa culture and much, much more.

• At the moment there are 3 self catering houses.
• A house that sleeps 6 (max 8 if these are children). 2 bedrooms, a loft with two beds, 2 bathrooms
• A house that sleeps 4 (max 6 if these are children). 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom
• A house that sleeps two and an infant (little more rustic). open plan bedroom/ living room
• Extra services: House can be cleaned on a daily basis at a surcharge. Otherwise weekly
• Wood can be bought at the farm @ R15 per bag.

Out of season:
• R 150 per adult per night
• R100 per child per night (up to age 11)

  Minimum price per unit:
• 6 sleeper: R500
• 4 sleeper: R400
