Historic Charm: This Sir Herbert Baker designed house was built some time around the turn of the century and was recently immaculately restored to its former glory into an exclusive boutique guest house. The renovations have retained the character of the era house while ensuring that today’s discerning guests luxuriate in modern comforts with total privacy and personalized service.

Rutland Lodge is tucked away on a quiet
tree-lined street, in the stylish Cape Town suburb of Oranjezicht.
Each of the 6 exquisitely decorated bedrooms features a walk on
balcony which offers splendid views of Cape Town and the Atlantic
Seaboard, or leads onto a private patio. All 6 bedrooms have an
en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower, bathrobes, king
size or twin beds, air-conditioning, mini-bar, television, DVD,
DSTV, telephone, internet access, safes and hairdryers. We welcome
children aged 12 and over.
Located in Cape Town’s City Bowl, Rutland Lodge is central to the major and most popular destinations such as Table Mountain (3 min.), the world renowned V&A Waterfront (7 min.), Clifton and Camps Bay beaches (7 min.), the Cape Town International Convention Centre, the free-way leading to Cape Town International Airport, the Cape Winelands and its magnificent estates, or central to access many of the Western Cape’s golf courses.
